David Earnshaw’s excellent article on using Coventry Dieheads appeared in issues 4657, 4659 and 4661 of Model Engineer in 2017. They are essential background reading for Peter King’s articles starting in ME&W 4768-4771, September-December 2025 for anyone unfamiliar with these tools. You can also download Peter King’s Coventry Die Sharpening Jig tables that accompany the last two parts in his series.
