Back in 1992 this design was offered for those who lacked the space for a normal bandsaw. It was the first free plan to appear over two issues – a rare move for EW in those days, but one that showed the magazine had established itself as a regular publication.

I'm a model engineer, and in the past I have written for ME and MEW, but I won't claim any great stock of expertise, just plenty of enthusiasm. Before becoming editor, I used to post on this forum as Stub Mandrel (and may occasionally still do so).
