Reversing marine vee engine model of the vee twin that powered the steam launch "Vivid" on the Norfolk Broads and coastal reaches The full size engine lies in the care of Norfolk City Council, museum department, showing on internet page of "Old Engine house". I made this engine, travelled to Norwich, measured up and photo'd the full size engine, made the timber patterns, took them to the foundry and had castings made in GM and cast iron. I worked a good deal of hours and here is a very interesting and unusual model of a real engine. Come and see it running, very fast or extremely slow. See it and I'm sure you will buy it. Cash sale only. Will not post. Collect only 1/4 size model of the original. 6" stroke x 4 1/4" bore. Engine dimensions approx 21" wide, 12"high by 8" deep. Engine is sold complete with pattern set for the model castings. £1950 to include patterns, £1900 without. The model is located in Northamptonshire. Demonstration running at viewing.
