This is the all geared milling head made by Rishton, type VM60 as fitted to the Myford 254, Harrison M250, M300 and possibly others. Has six speeds, 130, 208, 370, 700, 1100 and 2000 rpm. Head uses 2mt fitting and swivels +/-90 degrees with a quill and quill clamp. Rise and fall using hand wheel. This is a new and unused spare, but came from Withams so ex-military and appeared to have been out to the Middle East and back, so paint scratched and marked, fan cover somewhat dented. It is three phase with a dual voltage motor, 400/230V. I have run it off 400V and all works as it should but obviously not cut any metal. Fitted with push button starter. Comes as two parts, the geared head plus the 80mm diameter column with rise and fall hand wheel. NOTE there is no bottom bracket for bolting to the lathe or mill. Will need collecting.
