More about me:

Started my life as a spectroscopist analysing copper and its alloys.  I then spent the next 21/2 years testing power cables all over the country and got bored with the travelling so went back to spectroscopy working for BICC at their Wood Lane research facility. It was there I got into model boats as we had access to myfords etc.
After 10 years of spectroscopy I moved into Electon Microscopy as the supplies of glass photo graphic plates began to dry up. At this time I got into computing as most of the SEM's were computer controlled etc.
I was then made redundant and then worked for the Engineers department of a local authority doing computer programming and finally ended up at a school as network manager and then I got a workshop ... the rest is history!
