“Kindly Uncle Nige is back :)”
It is a long time since I did any 'metal bashing' and I suppose like many who have an early introduction and then love of engineering I have always carried the longing that at some time I would 'own a lathe' and start to 'make stuff'. Having recently sold on a Myford ML4 and replaced it with a Sieg SC4-510a my time has finally come. At the moment I have no 'main' area of interest beyond re-learning much of what i have forgotten and filling in the very many areas I never learned in the first place. I hope to accomplish much of this in the construction of jigs and tools for the new lathe and the Sieg SX2.7 mill I bought at the same time.
