Hi all and hope you are all keeping safe….

I have a Pultra 15/90 but missing the collet drawbar, I believe its the same thread used for the Schaublin W20. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement or get a Schaublin drawbar as a substitute.

      Cheers

In case you may need to make or have made a draw tube (which I think this is as the thread is on the outside of the collet), it was discussed on this forum a while back. The thread seems to be 19.7 mm OD x 1.667 pitch. (i.e. one and two thirds mm). But it's a buttress form.

W20 taps are available from China on eBay (about £55).

rcm-machines sell a W20 internally-threaded adaptor (I think it is M12 the other end). That might be a good starting point.

              See also this thread:-

where Floyd Automatic is mentioned. On page 38 of their brochure at:

              https://www.floydautomatic.co.uk/eshop/files/files/Catalogues/Schaublin/Schaublin-Accessories-%26-Various-Items-with-Collets-Shanks.pdf

              you can buy a part-drawtube, internally-threaded W20 and external M19 x 0.75.

Yes I saw the taps and the thread adaptor from RCM, (about £25 plus £20 postage)

…RCM adaptor probably an easier option than the tap…..very expensive postage though…

                Cheers

If you can make one for less than the RCM one costs posted to you, I will take 5 please.

You have been provided with information that will get you a working W20 drawbar for less than £50. What were you expecting to pay for this unusual item? Good job you didn't ring Floyd Automation and ask of the Schaublin one.

Easy tiger…..I'm just looking at options…no need to get upset about my observations about postage!!!!

Its just a sleeve with a thread !!!!
