although I am going to strip it and paint in original colour …

        .

It matters not a jot, Dell … but I have to ask:

What makes you think that green was its original colour ?

        MichaelG.

The original colour was cream but I was unable to find a paint code for the cream and anyway the cream would show all the marks so I decided to use the green as it was the last original  colour that was used on the Pultra’s Reseda green RAL 6011 .

why has the pictures appeared twice

Thanks for the clarification, Dell yes

I had a quick look to see if I could find a code for the Cream colour … but most of what I found was you asking the question elsewhere !

The Green looks like a good choice anyway.

20201130_134439.jpgA nice choice of colour, looks good, do post a picture when you've finished.

Here's one of mine in probably the same shade of green.

I'm doing this on my phone, and clearly haven't got the knack of rotating the pic to the correct orientation yet. Bear with me.

Looks good Colin you can go in to edit mode in pictures on your phone and rotate it and save whenever I do it I have to rotate it when I post because even if it is correct on the phone it seems to rotate when posted but if you rotate it doesn’t very odd, I just rotate all the way round back to original and save.

And yes I will post pictures when done spent yesterday rebuilding tailstock and quick close ( dish full of loose ball bearings)2d44d92b-8a5d-4445-9695-e2dcffad94a9.jpeg

I have done it as well 😂
