209 forum posts 144 photos | Is there some trick I'm unaware of in getting the forum to correctly re-size a photo inserted using 'Image' button? I have mine hosted on PhotoBucket, and it seems no matter what setting I choose (in terms of locking the aspect ratio or resizing) I end up with an elongated picture. I then have to manually drag the box to approximate the correct ratio. |

249 forum posts 60 photos | I've had some upside down issues when posting from my iPad. Images look ok, but when posted the appear the wrong way up. I Flip and save them on the iPad it makes no difference. The orientation of the iPad seems to make a difference when taking the original photo. Bob.. |

![]() Moderator 20283 forum posts 2218 photos 1 articles | Its quite possible the image you are turning up the right way is only being displayed correctly on your screen and the uploaded version is the original which may still be inverted. Regarding sizing from photobucket once you have pasted the link into the url box tab twice which will bring you down to teh width box and enter 450, the height should automatically change then OK. I have all my PB images at 700 wide which suits most other forums so just do the above when I'm using an image on here |

![]() 171 forum posts 168 photos | The problem with the upside down photographs has been solved. I used the "old" computer as the mini I pad was the cause of the problem. I now have photographs that can be seen up the correct way at last! Thanks for the help. |

![]() 175 forum posts | I've given up before I start trying to post from ipad. It seems the pads preffered orientation is the one which is awkward to use if you're not standing on your head. Might give it another go when the mood takes me. It won't beat me. Rick |

When I go to the add photographs bit the "choose file" button is "greyed out" . Andy, Which iOS version are you using ? The "choose file" option certainly doesn't work with iOS 5 MichaelG. . P.S. ... For rotating photos [and other simple editing] I had intended to recommend an App called PhotoForge2, but this seems to have disappeared from the AppStore Edit: Yahoo! bought it and killed it ... see here Edited By Michael Gilligan on 26/03/2014 20:42:45 Edited By Michael Gilligan on 26/03/2014 20:50:29 |
