Don't call the office that quickly.
Snow is probably to blame.

On sale 31 December.
4395 has to go to printers by Wednesday.

I must refrain from looking at the web version as it will spoil the pleasure of reading the paper one in the bath. ![]() Neil Edited By Stub Mandrel on 17/12/2010 20:25:22 |

![]() 4315 forum posts 291 photos 1 articles | Three ebay purchases made on Sunday arrived on Thursday, but hoover belts ordered on Saturday are still to arrive. Normally the latest ME would have been here on Tuesday. We've had no problems with major roads in the Midlands, although some of the back roads have been dodgy. I guess its where things are coming from that is making teh running. Neil |

Hi
bit of a whoops with the links on the website front page.
under the front cover of MEW 172 it has a link for the contents, which goes to the contents of 171.
![]() however the link in digital issues works ok so I can see what I'm missing due to this rotten snow, which we just had another inch and a half.
![]() Cheers
Roy
PS A Merry Christmas to everyone. ![]() EDIT
Wow, that was fixed fast.
well done to whoever

I saw a postman this morning - but not on our road, but they've brought the Sunday Post back. It would be nice to get ME every Sunday ![]() Neil |

1350 forum posts 1 photos | Hi all,
Re my prev. moan 18/12 about ME4393+MEW172.
Monday,20/12, I was in Smiths, Churchill Sq., Brighton as soon as they opened. I counted 9 copies No.4393, 5 copies No.172 and approx a dozen (didnt actually count them) of January EIM. These are the dregs left after the weekend vultures.
I have all 3 by subs but `good ol` snailmail` still failed on Tuesday. I think that as EIM hasnt arrived, it must be our wonderful postal system, not myhobbystore.

65 forum posts 1 photos | What is happening in this country? A bit of snow and a bit of cold, neither of which would have given us a jot of trouble twenty years ago, stops everything. ME 4393 landed on the door mat this morning and people are saying they have received 4394 already!! Time was nothing would have stopped our postmen, but successive governments have driven down moral to the point where most of them won't put themselves out - and who can blame them? And what about our railways? Overhead lines down at Huntingdon this morning and the ECML is stopped all day. Would never have happened with steam, or even diesel for that matter. Same problem. No spare capacity to recover from any problem. Eddie |
