Can anyone point me to a decent wall chart with Metric/fraction and Decimal conversions that is suitable to print out and laminate to go on a wall. I do have a Zues book and another with them in but the way they are laid out is not suitable for what I need.

The ones I have found by googleing did not suit what I needed as many have so much colour in them I would need a mortgage to pay for the inkdevillaughlaugh

What numbers do you want? It would be trivial to generate a spreadsheet.

So many to choose from! I can't recall where I downloaded this from:

fraction_decimal_metric conversion.jpg

It's lost a little definition in the conversion from pdf to jpeg, but if you would like a pdf copy, pm me your email address and I'll send it to you,

John

As Mr Haine said, it's dead easy to make a chart in Excel for example. Here's one I made earlier. I had to convert it to a JPG to put it on here, so don't know how clearly it will print.inch to mm.jpg

THIS is a PDF of a chart I constructed years ago. I printed and laminated it on A4 sheet. It's my go-to source for drills/taps and conversions.

Gary, I had 'access denied' when trying to download your chart. Should I request access, or can you make it public?

Thanks,

Bill

Sorry Bill,

I thought I'd granted access to everyone, but clearly hadn't. It should be OK now.

Gary:

Just had the same access request. Asked for grant.

Three happy sons this end now, all with their own copy.

Thanks Gary.

Much appreciated, Gary

But it seems these things work [or don’t] in mysterious ways sad

I've now a few of these in various forms but I bought two of Tracey Tools' posters (tapping-sizes on the reverse). One hangs in the workshop, using an old trouser-hanger so I can turn it easily. The other floats around the front-room furniture for ready-reference when I'm using TurboCAD.

Oh, and both are complemented by copies of the Zeus book!.

Not for me, Gary sad

Edit: A specific request worked fine yes

Looks like Google just wants to monitor everything we’re doing !

Footnote: After all that effort … it’s the same file that I downloaded in July 2017 blush

Many thanks anyway.
