Totally confused by this thread

Says - I need this exact motor in the title, and now it is all about finding one other than the exact motor ?

Or am I missing something ?

Br,

It would appear that the German link I posted has an error in the flange type, B5 not B14.

People have been kind enough to try and help me out with this, I am sorry if it has caused you any confusion or irritation.

Regards, Martin

Thanks Martin

I was not aware of that - thanks for explaining, I read it as the german one was spot on and you were looking for a uk source as opposed to buying the german one

Not caused me any irritation rest assured.- just a tad confusd. Dementia does not help.

Good forum for getting help, someone always finds a solution

Trust all works out well for you and pics of progress / finished item are always of interest

Martin, a couple of questions for you if I may. What are those little “teeth” like objects in the bottom right of your picture? And, will you be using a glass platen on your grinder like some folks do across the pond?

Hi Vic,

[…]

The small parts bottom right are clamps for plough planes, another project, one that has gone VERY well!

Cheers, Martin

.

Vic, for info. ^^^

Hi Vic,

Platen is 15mm mild steel which will have two asymmetrical T slots in it.

Larger steel item in the pic
