Advice sought on which top slide to purchase

2 forum posts | Hello / I am about to purchase an Axminster Sieg C0 and am interested in which top slide to purchase so I can turn tapers. There is a bewildering array out there which all look identical but are priced from £17 to £75! All unbranded so it’s hard to know what the best one might be...any guidance appreciated ! thanks David

If you have the funds, the slightly larger model from Arc is better value, plus after sales is much better. Bought from both. Taper tuning facility is built into top slide. I bought the CO initially, soon found it too small and upgraded. br Thanks - funds and space are the issue! It’s only for turning up small parts for 7mm locos and needs to be stowed away each time after use. But I’m open to suggestions of course! |
