Help needed in pasting earlier post contents.

I can generally manage photographs, but have not managed to add lines from other peoples posts. This is a great disadvantage and I'm sure it is an easy proceedure. Advice on how to do this would be appreciated.

When you're logged in and reading a post, click on "Quote" at the bottom - it will open up a reply window with their text in it, you can type your reply below.

You can just press quote at the bottom of their post and their quoted post will appear in the reply box, edit out what you don't need and type your comment under it.

You can also copy and paste (Ctl + V) and do it that way

If you want to copy the lot just hit the "quote tab below the post. You can then highlight and delete any part you do not want.

OR highlight required text and copy it ctr+ C. Then hit ctr + V to paste it into your response

Once you have got the quoted text up onto the screen move your cursor to the lone below the vertical bar and click then start typing otherwise it looks like your reply is part of the quoted test
