Now you have everyone reaching for their "Watch this item" box and crossing their fingers for the discount smile p

But that would explain the difference between listed price and what you paid.

have you looked at the revisions Michael, none since end of Decembercrook

.

I’ve done enough screen grabs [and conversions to jpg] for one day ... but what I did notice was that the original listing was terminated by the Seller ‘because there was an error’ ... hence my suggestion that John should keep a copy of the actual listing that he bought from.

I ordered one of these this morning as a result of LINK REMOVED (I also ordered a set of 15 ER11 collets for about £12.00) I too was wondering if there be additional charges when it arrives.

Banggood has a very different business model to ebay, Les ... so I will be very interested to see what happens.

My guess [and hope] is that your purchase will slip through [see my thread about Notice 143]

... but that probably depends on which Postal/Courier service delivers it to you.

Fingers crossed !!

Has anybody tried buying books from the EU since Brexit? I am hoping that there would be no problem as books are zero rated in the UK but would rather know before ordering as it may help me to talk somebody into shipping to this apparently outcast island as many sellers appear to have abandoned us.

My own stupid fault, I wanted the book (on Dutch trams) for months but forgot to order it in time despite expecting Brexit to be a total disaster.

Re my post on 08/01/21. The spindle that I ordered from China arrived today. There was nothing to pay.
(The collets that were ordered at the same time have not yet arrived.)

Just to tidy up my input to this thread - the package arrived this morning via Royal Mail. There was no demand for any sort of payment, VAT or otherwise. I'm still not sure whether my experience has clarified matters at all! But it is what it is; you can take from it what you will.

Lots of stuff in Times recently about this, many small businesses in UK giving up on exporting to EU, and EU companies refusing to sell to UK. I'll not say any more as it would get political
