I was looking at the above engine built by JasonB and I'm considering it for my next project, does anyone where I can find the plans for it.

Many thanks

The link above is to a bigger, more detailed engine with a 190mm diameter flywheel. The one in MEW / ME has a 115mm diameter flywheel. Your choice as to what size you want to build.

As said mine was published in ME and quite a few have been built and run well, as far as I know Julius' design like many is unproven and larger with no build description.

There is also a thread that goes along with mine showing some extra photos that did not get used in the mag as well as questions from other builders

I would highly recommend building Jason's design, it is a proven engine and a very nice runner. I am 3/4 the way through mine with not much left to do.

The real bonus with Jason's is all the advice, methods and pictures he has produced for the making of the parts and the build. I learnt a lot on both the lathe and mill in following his how to make advice.

I looked at the Julius design but at my level of experience I think I would have struggled.
