Hi

I hope some one could assist, I have quite an old Silver soldered B1 / Springbok boiler with the following stamped on the backhead;

RCS-4

Does anyone recognised the maker. Thanks

Reg Chambers of Weymouth was the only person that I knew of with a RC stamping on boiler.

Station Road Steam archives have several Chambers boilers and they are all stamped RC plus number so doubtful if my earlier post helps.

Boiler no RC604 was completed and certified in 1983.

Thanks, the boiler then may be a very early one of Reg Chambers.

Only thought I have is that RCS may possibly be Reg Chambers Steam which he started with and then dropped the S at a later date ?

If it is one of his boilers the you will have an excellent boiler as he was well respected in the model community.
