Hi, Some help please. The traction engine i'm building (D & NY in 2in scale) dose not have any drawings for the fire door. I was wondering if anybody can send me some dimensions etc. I know I could work some thing out myself, but things like the vent holes in the door would be a guess.

Thanks Garry

Try station road steam archive to see what others have done - they vary from plain doors with no holes to some with holes .

I would think a round version of Jason's was possible if need be.

Just out of interest, does anybody know why the variations ie Jason's has a baffle plate and no air slots whilst Haining has no baffle but air holes.

Haining did state somewhere that no original drawings exist.
