Just seen this on another site. How sad and pointless.

I suspect my response would get me banned and put on some watch list. The scrots are out on bail, may they trip awkwardly down some stairs.

Horribly tragically sad.

So sorry for the club.

At least they managed to succeed at something

No doubt they are misunderstood individuals who will find something / someone to blame for their behaviour .

If the culprits are prosecuted and found guilty will they get anything more than a slap on the wrist or would

naming and shaming them be a human rights issue .

Bring back the Stocks .

Words fail me at the utter mindlessness of such destruction.

How do you motivate yourself to rebuild a layout after that and if you did I cannot imagine it would be shown in public for the enjoyment of others again.

May the culprits be severely punished, but I doubt that that will happen.

What a negative and aimless little bunch of fools to destroy peoples possessions. I suppose a very stiff binding over awaits in court face 5

The sad thing is that others who might want to exhibit their work will be put off doing so in light of this. I was a secondary teacher for 30 years and know full well that the vast majority of kids would never do this, but it just takes a few mindless idiots to inflict such misery. My heart goes out to the owners of the destroyed exhibits, it must be devastating to see ones work treated in such a barbaric way.

As has been said the perpetrators will probably get no more than a slap on the wrist and given a few hours community service.

The Clockwork Orange droogs are out to play.

There are places in the world where this sort of behavour would earn 100 lashes.

But in the UK I suspect a community service order will be issued, and ignored.

Hiring some extra security guards around the clock for events like this where exhibits are left overnight would seem to be in order from now on. Shame it happened, deeply sorry for the modelers whose work was destroyed.

The responsibility has to be the parents who have utterly failed to raise children with respect for people and property. I doubt they will be keen to make reparations to the people whose work their offspring have destroyed.

My late father was a Vicar. If he were alive, I am sure that he would happily marry their parents.

My heart bleeds for those whose work has been destroyed for mindless pleasure, by idiots who are incapable of producing such work.

This sort of thing explains why we have to concentrate on security at any of our exhibitions, no matter how small.

With our P S M E exhibit coming up at the Park Farm Thorney, Farm Open Day, I am happy that our barn will be locked when I leave in the evening, and stay that way until next morning.

I am lost for words, well printable words. The bas***ds should should be whipped and ideally then castrated.

+1 for Baz's suggestion. Such as discussed in the "not the night clock news" episode years back. So they can't breed more mindless degenerates.

You think that they should still be allowed to live?

They have destroyed years and years of devoted and skillful work.

Some of those models and layouts may well be impossible to repair or remake.

Some of the victims will be SO devastated that they may well have major problems after this. Lose the will to live, is a some cases.

Only when the parents of these mindless thugs are made to pay for every last penny of the damage, and all of them are named and shamed will we start to see any change. This needs to be done for all such acts before parents everywhere start to teach their offspring respect for other peoples property. No release on bail, bread and water until they are sent to gaol.

Absolutely disgusting! Like others I will reserve my true opinions for fear of upsetting anyone.

Suffice to say even though these little toe rags were caught on the premises some smart solicitor will get them the least sentence if indeed charges are brought.

One can only hope they get their just desserts in some other way.

My anger is directed not just to the verminous scum that have done this but to the "leaders" and lawmakers of our country who encourage this anti social filth by insufficient punishment wherever and whenever it happens.

A very sad Rik
