Just a heads up. If you need a light for your Lathe and £250 for a Anglepoise is just too much. IKEA are selling a clone for just £9.00

Sounds a bit expensive - only €7.99 in France. About £6.79devil

Thanks for the heads up John.

I have a couple of original old articulated machine lights and see such things appear on ebay at ridiculous buy it now prices but are there actually people daft enough to pay that? At the moment I'm more in favour of the Lidl 8W strip of LEDs.

My machine lights (ex Industry scrapyard) are fitted with 6W LEDs. For the Club exhibition stands, I take two Anglepoises, one with a CFL, and the other made with two short 18W Fluorecents.

The Anglepoise is more flexible than the Industry lights, but if they are good enough for Industry, they are O K by me.

Hipsters. Genuine authenticity is cheap at any price.

Will we have to throw away all our metric stuff and decimal after the 'B' word. I have a couple of half crowns that may come back in so all power to me.
