This may be of interest to someone. A friend of mine has 2 tickets in a corporate box for the next England v Belgium game Thur 28th June. He paid £300 each including flights but he didn't realise when he bought them months ago that it was going to be the same day as his wedding!

If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place.

It's at the Portsmouth Road Registry Office, at 4pm. The bride's name is Nicola. She is 5'4" tall, about 8 stone, quite pretty, has her own income and is a really good cook. Pm for more details.

Yes, but a brand new reason for losing this time.

Hopefully it will soon be over - it messes up my local. The Timothy Taylor makes up for it somewhat, but sport people are something else. Perhaps it is because of the operation.

They think the same about model engineers of course!

no ,no, Clive , sport, especially BIG sport is wonderful when it keeps a huge % of the population indoors and glued to the 'idiot lantern', and the roads and lanes become wonderfully quiet and much safer for walking and cycling, so it is poor planning to have two big events on at the same time ! What a quandry for sport addicts...….it must be like have too much metal stock to convert to swarf blush

It's not a sport It's a game." The true sports are Hunting Fishing and Shooting "

Quote from my late father, but I concur

The King of sports, ie. horse racing, in this concept derides from hunting

England won the penalty shoot out, amazing apparently!

Not a fan just saw it on the news.

My wife told me, about an hour ago. Not seen it on the internet nor heard it on the news at 0900 (radio 4).

Amazing they won at the penalties stage. That seemed to be their point of failure over so many years!

I have the BBC News App on my iPad that seems to work as a constantly updating news feed. Very useful!
