Panic not gentle readers, MEW and ME are not merging together!

The next issue of MEW takes a look at some of the full-size workshop challenges in building a mainline loco. Ian Howitt, lead subcontractor on the building of 60163 Tornado shares some of his immense experience in an article that should fascinate everyone who machines metal. This article should also be required reading for any groups planning a full size loco build or major restoration.

If you would like to read and hear more from Ian on the Tornado project visit www.bbc.co.uk/tees...tornado_feature.shtml
