Brian, you'd do better on the MECH Forum for stuff about actual models. This is really a workshop forum and questions about locos usually result in the digital equivalent of blank stares. You stay logged on over there as well. I don't post here often because of the pain of logging in. There are Brit threads on MECH.

Hi. What is the address for this forum, I googled it and couldn't it. Thanks

Thanks for that, I'm already a member but didn't recognise the abbreviation. I think the forum is mainly for the Winson kit builders but it might have diversified now. I haven't been on there for ages.

nobbysideways has a thread going on mech at the moment

There are other non Winson threads if you use the search box.

With Simon on this one as the best place to ask your question.

Ron they also had paid skilled chaps to do it, I am just a model engineer with limited painting skill, well except for emulsion and gloss which I slap on and the wife is happy 🤔😋

Moving on ---- I opted for buying laser transfer paper on line and printed my own water slide transfers. I am happy with the results and a coat of Humbrol clear varnish has done the trick. Not show standard but good enough.

I would post post a picture but for some reason my I pad will not load pictures anymore into my folders.
