As I am on a night shift and don't do much, I came across Grace Guide To British Industrial History, I am sure it will be of interest to anyone who has not come across this site. I registered and able to access years of mechanical news and other articles from 1833 to 1950s,worth a visit, especially on night work.

They changed the format recently so your download title has no detail which is a pity, plus you now have to register to get a download

So not as good or as useful a place as it used to be (probably because of bots downloading) but still interesting
