154 forum posts 18 photos | Hi John. I bought one and although not used it much,I am pleased with the results so far. The arc seems easier to strike than my old transformer MMA - and it flows well and evenly. It is very small and light weight, so convenient for storage and moving about. The clamp and rod holder are quite flimsy. My clamp came away from the cable first time I used it but I prefer to use an old set of mole grips on the cable anyhow to ensure a sound earth. All in all , for the same cost as a tank of fuel in the Tin Lizzie - good value for money.
