Looks like a tool cutter or grinder.

Have you any knowledge of what it is?

Its origin, or maker?

Its proper name please. Thanks

Hello.

Can someone tell me what this is please.

Is it a homemade tool grinder?

Cheers

You are correct, it is a home made tool and cutter grinder and quite nicely made.

Not just a tool and cutter grinder, but a universal T&C grinder with the raising/lowering spindle. Very useful indeed. Looks like it is very nicely made. Have fun learning to use it. Well worth the effort though.

You might want to fit a guard round the cup wheel, I'd take the wheel off and make sure it 'rings' as it looks a bit grubby.

Interesting use of a change wheel for indexing, I made a 12-tooth ratchet for mine.

Thanks everyone,

I've never seen one with a vast array of positioning.

I always see the basic equipment.

That said I have no use for it.

It needs a good home, should I put it on the classifieds?

Cheers

If you put it on the Classifieds, then I would be interested in buying it.

Andrew.

Hello,

Sorry for the late response, im away at the moment.

I didn't find a way to post more than one picture on this site, (album seems unusable. maybe that's the case for new members) I could send more to an email address if there is no other way. I will also add it to the classifieds when back.

Many Thanks.
