I have got some PCD tips ref TPGW080202 and I need a holder for them any ideas where I can get one.

I want to use them for the turning of the outside diameter of pistons made from aluminium with a high silicon content

Thanks Oliver

Have you considered using a left handed boring tool that takes the TPG inserts, you would of course fit the tool as a normal boring tool but use on the OD and not ID.

If you make your own you could use silver steel and harden and temper if required.

Triangular, 11 degrees clearance, ground, with countersunk clamp screw hole. 8mm inscribed circle, 2.38mm thick, 0.2mm radius. Something like this?

Bit of a minority sport by the looks of it. If you click under where it says "See pages B109–B112 for inserts", it shows you a pic of the dimensions etc. It has 5 degrees slope on the top mounting face. Combined with the 11 degree insert, that leaves 6 degrees of clearance. M2.5 / Torx T7 screw? You can get the screws from APT.
