Ok good idea, i just joined so im new here, i got myself a unimat awhile ago and found this little thing(the super adept) with an original unimat 3 jaw so thats why I bought it and just fell in love with the idea of restoring it, and when looking for bits i found a full one which hasn't arrived yet so will show soon, but if i can get those bits i will have 2.

It is worth resurrecting this thread every once in a while, if only to note the late, great, JS's comments laugh

I feel a great deal of guilt - all my Super Adept needs is mounting on a base with its motor and countershaft and setting up.

Ideally I also need to finesse the tumbler reverse.

If all goes well, i should have my full super adept with 4 jaw arrive today...so excited...got a motor ready and a few sets of possible spindle bushing upgrades on the table.

Beats pushing a file though, and more accurate too. Seems a bit spendy though, and missing the actual tool post.

That shaper is mine! I need one aa trying to start a business and was actually looking for shapers and discovered that one, which i might be able to afford on my disability benefits budget, and not the size of washing machine, but does anyone know of any other similar scale shapers out there, preferably old and manual and cheap for me to do up nice.
