Thread: Small head metric hexagon bolts and nuts
24/04/2019 18:25:01

Thanks Brian, I did have a look at their website but couldn't see any.

I have heard about the German company but like you I can't remember the name.

I've tried ebay and EKP but no joy, EKP will make them but need to buy 1000+.

Hello all, is there anywhere that sells smaller than standard head metric bolts and nuts in m5 m4 & m3 etc . I know that I can get one size smaller ba ones but I should like scale sized metric ones.

Thread: Best value parting tool for mild steel?
17/01/2019 14:17:04
I've had good results with the Tee shaped HSS cobalt parting blades. Used them on stainless, ally, mild steel abd brass, easy to resharpen and cheaper than carbide tips.

Ivy, the R.O.C. was the Royal Observer Corps. During the cold war they would monitor fallout from a nuclear bomb etc.

I'm only guessing but could it be something to do with the now stood down R.O.C, maybe some sort of fallout sampling and transmission gear?

Thread: WARCO WM-250 lathe family and WM16 mill - 001
21/08/2018 15:36:18
Hi Howard, these are for a project I am doing, the ones for my lathe fill the bill so I wanted a set from a defunct lathe. My thinking was that they would work out cheaper second hand.
