Thread: Wall Chart

Posted by Gary Wooding on 25/07/2021 09:51:55:

THIS is a PDF of a chart I constructed years ago. I printed and laminated it on A4 sheet. It's my go-to source for drills/taps and conversions.

Three happy sons this end now, all with their own copy.

Thanks Gary.

So I bought it.

So advice to the contrary is too late already.

Various work-arounds for the round-column issue have been discussed in the past.

… Make the best of its capability yes

Michael .

The way the thread reads to me is that comments about the round column only came after he said he bought the sx25m ?

My son bought a sx25m and it was soon sent on in favour of the Sieg 2.7L from Arc which he is more than happy with.

Your suggestion of a stepped stud would be my choice.

What a stupid comment .

Sorry about that, I was thinking of the differences at the time, the later Stuart models ones having BA studs and nuts.

Brain in gear  now -- Jason has the right answer.

Stuart's do not have the drawings, having enquired before.

The engine is circa 100 years old, an original Henley issue.

Thanks replies one and all. Should have said I do speak french, un petit peu.

Special thanks to Tony Jackson for his time and effort in providing so much helpful info.

Special Thanks to Tony Pratt 1 - she has now decided to take your advice.

Take care all.

PS This came about as doctor advises sea air to help her breathing problems - Cost of property close to sea made it a no go in this country - france being affordable.

Wife would like to move to France

Any help / advice from members via PM would be very much appreciated.

What’s IOSS.?

On 1 July 2021, the European Union (EU) introduced the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme. This new system aims to simplify VAT registration requirements for selling into the EU, making it easier for businesses to grow, stay compliant and protect their bottom line.

More on google if you need it.

Wow, how interesting. I now walk slower, spend money slower, eat slower - I must be degenerating !!

What a load of old tosh,

I hope you are not degenerating. I had a relation who commited suicide as he was unable to cope with being unable to do what he could, remember things, etc.

I have seious issues with it and some days I just wish it was all over .

May you always be a Speedy Builder and never become  a Slower Builder.

I wish you well.

Problems driving was the way mine was discovered.. I no longer drive.when I thought I would be able to for twenty or more years to come.

Coping with it is a struggle, especially when you make stupid mistakes and I struggle with others pointing this out to me.
