Thread: Rubbish Milling Finish in Aluminium
Hello out there,
One piece of advice missing? When cutting aluminium the cutter should rotate "climb milling" - as shown in the more recent picture, the rotary table should be rotating Anti-clockwise, or as shown - cut completed.
Thread: Smart Meters & temperature/BA thread size relationship
Hello Mr Coldfinger,
I had an early Smart meter - but it burned out.
I get calls pleading for me to have one - but no-one can actually tell me HOW it can save you money.
As I see it its a clever ammeter, see some of the You-tube explanations.
Thread: Newbie from Shropshire
Altough I had "joined" some years ago, I had never taken the plunge to register my interest by placing "Posts".
I live near Newport, Shropshire, so feel a bit out in the blackwoods.
For several years I was resoring some WWII aircraft, have a useful range of machinery.
I am now looking to dispose of surplus tools and materials.
I have been in engineering most of my life - 16 years as an engineering instructor.
I have been a regular reader of MEW - and contributor.
Hope this will "pass" as an introduction.
