Hi Ian ask BT about a service they do called BT Call Guardian a friend uses it, you give them a list off numbers you want to get through but if the ladies voice does not recognise a number it hangs up on you.

Thanks very much Barrie a very enjoyable read cannot wait for more when Dave was racing he never seemed to get the press coverage he deserved.
Love to read more on the Dave Morris bike and the Suzuki was that when John Reynolds won the British Championship

|Thread: Problems with digital read out|
I have been having a problem with the Y axis jumping about 5mm it was being wound from zero to .625 and as i moved the handle it suddenly jumped to .806 wind back to zero and it would go to the correct zero.If i then wound it very slowly it was ok for two or three days then it got worse and started jumping all over the scale. After finding the original paper work for it 2010 i bit the painful bullet and got a new one which touch wood is working ok at the moment with just the new screen and y travel and the old x and z left on the milling machine.
Out of interest i took the back of the old screen and noticed like a mould or growth along some of the tracks and wondered if this could be the problem.

Thanks very John it matches up very well. I must assume the boil is continental with threads like that all the fitting are very well made for what i assume is a commercial boiler. The feed is on the other side.Thank you all for your help Graham
As the title says i have recently aquired a small Maxwell-Hemmens boiler and need to clean out the boiler feed thread and discovered it is a slightly non standard thread as above top diameter is .231 and as near as i can tell 48tpi.Thanks

Two and a half years ago we noticed my wife was having problems with her memory and after 6 months managed to get her tested at the local hospital and yes there was the start of dementia but eat healthy and get plenty of exercise and do not bother us.Eighteen months later ie about ten minutes ago i had to take to the toilet has she cannot remember where it is.We have lived in the same two bed bungalow for 28 years. She gets to the elderly medicine centre every 4/5 months and gets very little help from them. You are a burden on them and they just want you to hide away and be quiet.

|Thread: Aircraft General Discussion|
Hi it seemed long for a piston prop i/e small light aircraft the wings looked thin and i think the engines were on the wing not like the drones i found on google at the rear. It was pitch black and i was so surprised to see something so low and it was gone in a few seconds so was going reasonable fast. The thing i cannot get out of my mind is how quiet it was two hundred yards and you could not hear it at all.It was also on the same flight path we sometimes see the Red Arrows on.Sorry to be so vauge but it was in sight for less than 10 seconds.Graham
A question for the recognition experts. We was walking the dog down a very quiet gated road on tuesday evening at about quarter to six a car went past and made turn my head from the way we was walking and out of the corner of my eye saw a light in the sky about 1/4 of a mile away at about 150 feet and it was not until it got a lot closer about 200 yards could we actually hear it.It sounded like a muted tuned car engine, 2 prop engines as it was directly over head we could still hear each other talk it was so quite it was unbelievable flying roughly south east to north west and as it flew away a single orange flashing light at the rear and no lights visible on the wing tips.Flying slight south of Brixworh and heading towards Haslebech,As fae as i know we are a low flying area but only in day light.Graham
