Bought a BlueTooth dongle from China for $2, including shipping. Not here yet, shipping is 4 weeks. Lowest price in the stores is $22+tax. Will see how well it works when it arrives.

Thread: In my drawers
25/07/2018 18:11:31

It has to be realized that just because a tool has sat there and not been used, that it will not be. Many a time on a Saturday night My bacon has been saved by a Plan C tool. You cannot save everything but it is fun trying and a big chest swelling when it works. I have a friend that does not have any plan B's and it makes trouble scrambling around trying to find some one to help.

Thread: Political views within the forums
13/07/2018 19:49:07

The opinions expressed by the Members here help Me to understand Your Society and ways of doing things. I have a tough skin and any political or otherwise sharp barbs will not affect ( correct word) Me and I welcome the errant discourse.

Thread: How can I drill a deep, non-standard, small diameter, hole?
08/07/2018 20:03:03

Perhaps We should start a thread seeing Who could turn the smallest diameter. Lots to learn.

Thread: Valve guides
04/07/2018 18:20:30

From across the pond valve guide knurling was done a while back, don't know if it is still done, but was told the job would not last as long. How long it would last is Your best guess, same as piston knurling.

Thread: Lost and Found
30/06/2018 14:48:17

Friend gave Me some maps for a trip. We could not find Them and plodded along with out Them resulting in a few mistakes. Came home looked every where with no success. Took 2 days to realize I put Them away where They belong thinking We would go there to get Them before We left. So much for trying to develop good habits.
