If You are getting negative rake with the Drill Doctor, just slightly loosen the collet and turn the drill bit slightly clockwise (I think) and tighten it up and try again. If it's worse then it goes the other way, I don't have My notes here with Me at the moment.

Across the Pond some cities charge $5 a month recycling fee added onto garbage pick up fee. Found out there is no market for the stuff but that does not stop the money collection.

Batteries used to be rebuilt here using roof tar for resealing. Don't know if roof tar has changed over the years.

Anyone remember stacking loose hay in the barn. I worked with an oldtimer and His hay was put up in the mow while still a little green. Towards evening He saw steam or smoke coming from the barn. Got up on the second floor and the hay was smoldering. All He could do was to pitch it out the door and when it hit the ground it was bursting into flame.

You could always use a Dial Indicator to check if the cut off tool holder is parallel to the travel of the cross slide. Overkill but guaranteed results.
