Long before I had access to the Internet I did not know Propane was harmful to welding hose. I swapped my Acetylene tank out for Propane. It's been about 30 years ago and still using the same hose with no signs of a problem.

I don't know if it is the same across the pond as it is in The Colonies, but I keep a rotary dial here at home as when We get a storm and the cell phone towers go on the blink a rotary style will still work, not 100% but still more often.

I was lucky to see it takeoff in Columbus Ohio, USA. It took off normally, then when it got up several thousand feet, It was just plain gone. Amazing as I live near a airport and see this stuff all the time.

Might not be round or parallel when You are done. Search the forum, You need some more information for the job to work correctly.

A small boring head or fly cutter with a shaped tool would do the job the cheapest if You have the tools, just not the fastest.
