For Sale: BROOM & WADE Compressor

Date added: 16/03/2019 16:55:04

  • Category: Miscellaneous
  • Price: £30.00

This compressor is in full working order & has the 230mm diameter driven pulley fitted. I have used it for years to pump up car tyres & blow down machines when cleaning them. I has most of the hard-to-get parts needed to rebuild it as a small workshop compressor. It ran perfectly for my needs then with a 1/3rd H.P. single phase motor. I believe that spares for this type of compressor are still available from specialist outlets. I am selling it now because I have purchased a larger compressor. It is to be supplied with a small, unused commercial vehicle air-brake reservoir (200mm diameter x 400mm long) to use as a receiver, together with a 110mm x 5/8 bore motor pulley & belt guard that is the correct size for the pulleys. The receiver has 3off 1/2 BSPT tapped bosses. All it requires are a motor, pressure switch & some plumbing. It can then be mounted on a suitable frame & will give many more years useful service as a workshop compressor if correctly installed & lubricated. I can supply more photos if required to. Compressor details are: - Broom & Wade-Type PF Max Pressure 120 psi M/c No-1630 259 Spec No-300 9675
