High temperature micro welder. This unit produced by Johnson Matthey, produces oxygen and hydrogen by electrolysis of water to provide gas for the welding torch. The electrolytic cell has been drained and cleaned and all gaskets replaced and the unit has been electrically and pressure tested. Unit comes with one torch but spares and extra torches are available from Cousins. This is a Model Super A which can supply 2 torches simultaneously. The torch uses hypodermic needles to produce a very fine flame and the temperature can be adjusted by using different atomiser fluids for temperatures from 1200C to 3300C. Widely used by jewellers. The unit has not been refilled to permit safe shipping and will require distilled water and potassium hydroxide to refill and also methyl ethyl ketone for the atomiser ((1750C). The unit is currently located in Bexhill but if essential it may be possible to get it shipped back to my address near Manchester.
