As model engineers, most of us at some point will buy a second hand machine tool, or will want to check specifications to see if one is suitable for our needs.
 
In this "live" article we hope to provide a repository of out of print, or hard to find machine tool manuals.
 
If you have ORIGINAL copies of a manual you would be happy to share please contact me here. We would hope that contributors can provide scanned copes of manuals in jpg format, at a resolution of at least 300 dpi, on CD or DVD.
 
We would like, where possible, to keep the manuals available to ALL members of the site. However, if we have to scan manuals ourselves ( and incur the cost that that involves ) there is a good chance that these will be marked as "Subscription Only". Therefore, if members can provide scanned copies in the formats above, the manuals will remain free to all. A good chance to give back something to the hobby ? 
 
We are starting this off with the Drummond 3 1/2" and 4" Lathe, and accessories manuals.
