More about me:

Retired Air Traffic Controller (civil).  Living in Orne, France since 2004.  No mechanical engineering qualifications but have a life-long interest in cars.  Built Fisher Fury spyder kit-car then sold it two years later and bought a Ford GT40 replica.  Superb car!  Sold that to part-finance house purchase.

Bought a lathe (Asian 9 x  20) clone locally then added a mill from Amadeal on trip to the UK.  Have a look at my album for the workshop layout.
