| 73 forum posts 8 photos | Hi all, I need to get hold of some Tufnol strip to make up a leaf spring assembly,Question is where from? Nobody seems to sell 7/16 x .070" or even wider to cut down. Reeves do sell some but nothing that fits the bill. Is there an alternative i could try? |

| 332 forum posts | Maybe SRBP printed circuit board, though it's usually 1.6mm thick which is 0.063", and a couple of thou less if you strip off the copper. Or paxolin sheet, like this 0.0625" stuff LINK Edit: I see that Tufnol themselves do a 2mm (0.079" )thickness ANOTHER LINK . Don't know what the minimum quantity is, though, and I think there's a tolerance of plus or minus 5%.. Andy Edited By Andyf on 16/08/2012 11:00:33 Edited By Andyf on 16/08/2012 11:01:57 |

| 497 forum posts | These people: **LINK** sell Tufnol sheet, though the thicknesses are 1, 2, 3 etc mm, so you might have to do a bit of re-calculation. David |
