Whilest thinking/dreaming about locos i would love to build i have seen that on the majority of locomotives in 7.25" they have 3 cock shut off valves on the gauge glass for obvious reasons.

And i would like to know is it worth trying to build one yourself? Well is it possible to make a good one without forking out what it would cost to buy one built?

Bearing in mind the one i was looking at costs something like £150 and then model requires 2.

Regards,

Romeo
