The engine performed 100%! 75mph where allowed with 14 coaches in tow at which it sounded fantastic, couldn't believe how many people were watching/waving/photographing ALL along the route there and back - even when we got back at 11pm! A very capable loco shown here being mobbed at York station!

Being a keen photographer I was hoping to get some nice shots - but there were so many people everywhere it became 'difficult' I just enjoyed it for the day out as it was, with a visit to the National Railway Museum as well!
