South Durham Model Engineers: Annual Open Day, from 10 am. Run your loco on our 720 ft track, gauges 3.5", 5" or 7.25" (bring boiler and insurance certificates). Or, if you can drive a steam loco but don't have your own, come and run one of ours. Or just come to meet us.

URMSTON & DISTRICT Model Engineering Society will host this year's IMLEC over the weekend of 23/24 July. Visitors welcome!
The track is situated in Abbotsfield Park, Flixton and extends to about 2200 feet in length.

The competition will start on Saturday morning and run throughout the two days.
Car parking and refreshments will be available.

23 Jul 2016SomersetTaunton Model Engineers Miniature Steam Gala

2016 marks the 70th Anniversary of the Taunton Model Engineers. To celebrate this event, the Club is holding a Miniature Steam Gala at its ground level track in Creech St. Michael on Saturday 23rd July 2016 from 10.00am – 4.00pm. (Post code TA3 5DW, signed from from nearby main roads.)

Visitors will have the opportunity to ride on a number of steam and diesel-hauled trains and see an extensive exhibition of members' work. There will also be traction engines running in the surrounding grounds, trade stands and demonstrations. Refreshments are available, and we welcome visiting 7¼ inch gauge locomotives and traction engines to take part in the event (with the usual boiler certificates).
