26 September 2015KentPolly Owners Group Autumn Rally

The Polly Owners' Group Autumn Rally will take place at Maidstone Model Engineering Society's track on Saturday September 26th 2015 starting at approximately 10.00 am. (Times to be confirmed).

The Polly Owners group is made up of people who own or have built a Polly Model Engineering loco including their fine scale locos who usually meet up twice a year at various model engineering society clubs. This year Maidstone MES have kindly agreed to host the September Rally as we have a few members who have built or are currently building Polly locos. On the day we are looking for volunteers to offer their services in a variety of ways, for example, traffic controller, members to be at the bollard to admit participants into the park on a rota system, checking boiler certs and any other general assistance where needed. Lastly we will be providing a buffet lunch so any help in advance and on the day will be most appreciated.

Visit the Polly Owners' Club website for details.

The Lowestoft Model Engineering and Model Making Exhibition will this year be staged at the Ormiston DENES Academy (formally known as DENES High School), Yarmouth Road, Lowestoft, NR32 4AH. Following the success of last years event the decision, by the organising committee, to move venues was not taken lightly and is due to the restricted site, access and car parking caused by the phase 3 building work at Pakefield High School.

Visit the Exhibition's website for details.
